THE REPORTED INCIDENT
What the sources report
The Quint reports filming a mob attack on a protester at Connaught Place. It also discusses a circulating video of an attack on a young female protester. The scenes may be separate; this is a working cluster pending original-media review.
Attribution & uncertainty
The Quint describes the mob as right wing and reports an interviewee claiming Bajrang Dal and Hindu Rashtra Parishad membership. That does not establish every attacker’s affiliation. Victim age and individual identities are unverified here.
What needs verification
Obtain original recordings and camera-owner statements. Establish precise location, event time, victim age, individual conduct, and whether the clips depict one or multiple incidents. Do not count reposts as independent evidence.
Official response / follow-up
India Today reports four arrests following the Connaught Place assault video; individual roles remain under investigation. Original police documentation has not been collected.
